Dear Chairman Graham & Director Paul
I attended the recent forum where I met the new Board. I have been away since that meeting, but I wanted to formally record my thanks to you and the new Board.
For the first time that I can recall, I felt (as a resident) that we are in safe hands – where the Board’s motivations are not conflicted.
I note with interest that the Board feels empowered to chase down the remaining short term let breaches, and that the begging bowl of indemnification approach from the previous Board is not your preferred approach – using our surplus funds to aggressively fight these cases is, in my opinion, in all our interests and is the right thing to do.
On the subject of funds, thank you for your honestly that these had been held in an account(s) that was in effect an ‘at risk’ account and not a Trust account. I, like many others, in the room was horrified to hear that, but sadly not that surprised.
So, please pass on my thanks to the new Board members for acting so swiftly on these matters.
Please be assured of my support as you continue your journey to turn away from a Board where conflict of interest was prevalent to a Board acting for us all.
Please advise the board that. ” I have enjoyed the last period participating on the Board I and am sad at leaving but my circumstances do not allow much time in the UK over the next six to twelve months. I do believe that the way the board is addressing issue such as parking, security, communications, etc. is moving in the right directions with many improvements underway. I wish you all every success in the future and if any one any input or advise from me please do not hesitate to call”
Pete and I just had a good look at the website.
Excellent, and fully informative – well done to all concerned!!
