The Alchemist Licence Application

Following the application by The Alchemist for a new license in the former Strada premises, that license was granted despite the best efforts of four of our residents, our Chairman and Councillor Rob Wood, who spoke on behalf of 16 objectors. Our representations did gain one concession, in that The Alchemist have to close the external terraces at 10.00 pm instead of 11.00 pm, which was the time that they applied for – this, at least, should help to reduce the potential for noise disturbance!
